At Pacific Reclaim Studio, we don’t just reclaim metal—we reclaim lives. If you’ve ever met Ray, you know animals have always had a way of finding him. Before he was welding, he was rescuing—everything from stray cats to abandoned horses. An injury led him to change careers, but the rescues never stopped.

The Strays of Gorst

Gorst has become a dumping ground for unwanted pets, and the feral cat population has exploded. Ray does what he can—trapping as many as possible, getting them spayed and neutered, feeding them, and offering shelter in the shop. Some stick around, like Buddy (our so-called "Office Manager"), while others eventually find homes.
 

A Little Help Goes a Long Way

This isn’t an official rescue—just one guy and a welding shop doing what they can. If you’d like to help:

• Adopt – We’ve got socialized cats and kittens looking for homes. If you want a shop cat (or a couch cat), let’s talk.

• Support the shop – A portion of our sales goes straight to food, medical care, and supplies for these cats.

• Spread the Word – More awareness means more adoptions and support for TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return).

• Rescuing these cats won’t change the world, but it changes everything for them. And that’s reason enough to keep going.
