Don and Sarah’s Handrail
Blake Sand & Gravel
Ray designed and built Don and Sarah’s Handrail as part of a custom stair system. The stone was sourced from Clear Creek Quarry, with the large stones coming from Blake Sand and Gravel in Sequim. The handrail was constructed on-site by Ray and Kelly McDaniels of Port Townsend, WA, using hand-bent aluminum pipe that was welded and carefully inserted into the rock, blending industrial craftsmanship with natural elements for a sturdy, artistic installation.
