Planetary Rotation

Ray created an art piece standing 11 feet tall and 5 feet wide, made from a giant auger bit sourced from a mine, paired with a smaller auger bit from a rock quarry. The base is a large sewer cover from Seattle, while the top piece is an old propane tank from the late 1940s. This striking sculpture combines elements of industrial history, repurposing heavy, functional materials into a towering, captivating work of art.
