Prehistoric Tree and Pods

Ray created Prehistoric Tree and Pods for a client in Bellingham, constructing the piece from rebar salvaged from a bridge collapse. The sculpture also incorporates a large drill head, gears, twisted metal, and old round chain, blending industrial remnants into an organic form. The glass flowers were crafted by Kuy Hepburn of Bainbridge Island, while the glass orbs were made by Rolf Ward of Sequim, WA. This striking piece merges rugged, reclaimed materials with delicate glass elements, resulting in a unique and dynamic sculpture.
